After searching for a vintage kitchen island that would fit our narrow kitchen space for a long time, we decided, with trepidation, to go custom. I tried this shop because I was impressed with the diversity of Wes's work--his islands were rustic, industrial, farmhouse, modern, anything you want. Wes was very easy to communicate with. On a zoom call. He saw our kitchen, reviewed a rough a sketch I'd drawn, asked a lot of great questions, and soon, we had a design ready to go. As we fine-tuned details like stain color, ordering hardware, etc. Wes was endlessly patient. He kept me informed throughout the build. The shipping & delivery went off without a hitch. And when there was one glitch, he helped me make the fix and refunded a bit of the fee for my trouble. Really an honorable guy and excellent craftsman. I highly recommend.

Wes is absolutely wonderful!! He contacted us prior to starting the build to make sure there weren’t any specifications needed and sent us photos when he was done. Shipping was fast too!! A truly beautiful piece!!

Quality was very good , the seller is very trustworthy and honest . Takes his time to go over details , and sticks to all his timelines . He also insures his shipments in case of damages during the Freight, which I thought was very thoughtful. I strongly recommend urban upscale !!

Wes at UrbanWIRX was very friendly and courteous. He spent a great deal of time with us, via phone and text, making great effort to be sure the piece he was building for us met our exact specifications. He even called us several times if a question arose and he needed to know how to proceed. Clearly, Wes takes great pride in his work and cares very much in delivering what the customer wants. We would recommend, without hesitation, UrbanWIRX to anyone who wants a customize piece of furniture built.

Wes at UrbanWIRX, and Tyler, the highly skilled carpenter were fabulous to work with. Wes and I spoke by phone numerous times to make sure my custom hutch complied with my specs to make it a perfect piece of furniture for my kitchen. The size of the space was not standard, so they crafted a beautiful piece of furniture that fit perfectly in the space. Because we live within 2.5 hours from their business, Tyler himself brought the piece to our home and placed it in the kitchen for us. There are many choices of wood type, color of stain or paint, knobs and pulls. It was a wonderful experience! Thank you!

Wes was great to work with. I sent him a sketch of a custom piece I wanted. We then discussed dimensions, materials, and the finish. He sent me back a rendering for approval and the piece came out exactly as expected!! It was a fast, easy process and I'm really enjoying my cabinet! I'm really grateful that there are still good hardworking artisans making quality products out there and I will be ordering again!
